Located in Rockwood, between Greenville, Pittston Farms and Jackman, our cabin is situated in the heart of Maine’s legendary Northwoods and the magnificent Moosehead Lake region. 
Whether you are looking for a secluded romantic getaway, business retreat, family vacation, or simply a base to enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities, our cabin is ideally situated and fully equipped to ensure that you have a relaxing and pleasurable experience in a beautiful and pristine setting.
New for 2007 we have a private float on Moose River just a short walk from the
cabin.
The Moose River Escape Cabin is nestled in a secluded wooded area, yet within easy access of the Moose River, Moosehead Lake and the Northwoods. The cabin comes with deeded access to Moose River for boating, swimming, and fishing. The cabin is also only minutes from Moosehead Marina, Kineo public boat launch, and a variety of country stores and restaurants. For snowmobilers, it’s located within a stone's throw of the famous Moosehead Trail and Route 66, and within minutes of full snowmobile support services! Whether your preferences are for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, downhill skiing or you’re simply seeking solitude, our cabin is situated in a winter wonderland of opportunities that allows you to choose how to enjoy your escape!
If you are looking for a cozy and comfortable, old-fashioned style cabin with exposed beams, wood paneling and pine flooring that is also warm and spacious with all the modern amenities, then we have the ideal vacation rental for you! 
Our Moose River Escape Cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, two bathrooms with showers, two bedrooms sleeping 4 people each, a family room, a heated gear room, and a large covered porch to park your snowmobiles or store your skis under!
